How do I manage a roster when players are absent from a game
How do I manage a roster when players are absent from a game
Our youth league team has a total of 12 players but usually only has 10 or 11 players show up for any given game. Which 10 or 11 players attend a game changes from week to week. Is it possible to remove players from our team roster on a per game basis without permanently removing them from the team roster. In other words, I want to maintain statistics for all 12 players for the entire season but don't know how to handle the roster on game day when iScore shows 12 players on the team roster but we only have 10 players in attendance. (our league has roster batting so all players bat that are in attendance) Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

To manage players not being at a game, create the game with the full roster, and when it brings up the Lineup for the game, you can remove players for the lineup for just that game. By removing them from the lineup, they are not being removed from the official team roster, only from the lineup for that game.
If you do it this way, and view stats for just the game, you will only see stats for the players that were there. When you view cumulative team stats, you will still see stats for all players on the roster including a column showing the # of games they actually played.

I Never knew that! I like it. I hate having all the names of all the players on the stats when only 10 play. We have kids from other teams that sometimes play so I have them on the overall roster as well. My kid's roster is about 20 kids so this is a treat to know.
