Bug in OPS computation.

Post by juphoff » Thu Apr 04, 2013 6:23 pm

I just noticed a bug in the computation of OPS for hitters.

For hitters who have an OBP of 1.000 but a SLG of 0.000 (due to having nothing but BB/HPB PA's), the OPS is showing up in the app's Team Batting page as 0.000. (It should be 1.000.)

Interestingly, for players who have an OBP of .500 (i.e. a non-1.000 figure) and an SLG of 0.000, the OPS is computed correctly, 0.500, as is the OPS for a player with an OBP of 1.000 and SLG of 1.000: OPS = 2.000.

So it appears the bug only shows up when OBP is 1.000 and SLG is 0.000.

If you have an example of that in your data, then if you can do an Options -> Export and email your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com along with the details of which player / screen we should see this on, we would like to take a look. Thank you.
