Quick Scoring for Opposing Team Inning

Post by rrhawk11 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 10:07 am

Hi all,

Just picked up this app for my beer league softball team. Figured it would be cool to track the stats and make fun of the under performers.

Since the league is more casual, I really don't intend to track the opposing teams stats / hits or our pitching, only want to record the runs they scored at the end of an inning. Is there a fast way to do this sort of thing?

Looks like I can just plug in homeruns in consecutive at bats, then record 3 outs... but was wondering if there was a better way to do this? Please let me know. Thanks! Great app!

You got it actually. Just put in one player and have him hit HRs for each run, then end inning.

That is what most people do ... create one player on the opposing team, then enter a home run for any runs scored. You can tap Misc -> End Inning instead of having to enter 3 outs for the opponent. This will actually end the 1/2 inning and bring your team back to offense.

For proper mocking of teammates though, you might want to enter fielding errors also. You would just enter those using the one batter you have for the other team. Either that or you can enter them by hand at the end of the game for each player and inning.
