Scorecard disply over pitch location area

Post by LarryKoch » Wed Mar 27, 2013 8:10 pm

In the previous version I could flick the scorecard display on the game scoring screen and the scorecard would cover the pitch location area. I can't seem to get it to work on my ipad on this version (4.03) although it says in the user guide that it should. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Try completely existing out of iScore and restarting it. To completely exit out, go to the home screen on your iPad, then double tap the home button to reveal currently running apps in the bottom try. Then press and hold your finger on the iScore icon in that bottom tray until it starts shaking. Then tap the red minus sign next to iScore to stop it from running. Then restart iScore and the arrow to reveal the scorecard should reappear.

We are not sure why the arrow to reveal the scorecard sometimes disappears. If anyone has steps that can reproduce the issue starting from a fresh start of iScore, we would love to know so we can find the cause and fix it when it happens.

No luck. First I tried exiting the app as you described then I shut the ipad down and re-booted it. The arrow to reveal the scorecard always appears and I can get the scorecard displayed but only in the top half of the screen. When I try to drag it down over the pitch location area it won't drag down. I don't use the pitch location option so I would really like to have the scorecard fill up the right side of the screen like in the previous version. Thanks.

What happens if you hit the scorecard button at bottom of score screen, then tap the "Dock" button in upper right? Select the bottom right option and exit back to scoring screen.

Ah. Success. Thanks.

PS: From user manual:
The gray arrow on the far right of the scoring screen can be used to expand/collapse the scorecard by tapping it. You can decide if it should cover the pitch by pitch section, the pitch detail section, or both. Just “flick” the arrow up.down to move the scorecard up or down on the scoring screen.

While the scorecard is open, flicking that arrow up/down will set the docking location.
