Final pitching stats (# of innings) not matching scorebook

Post by realitycheck » Wed Mar 27, 2013 5:55 am

Just started using iScore. Really impressed so far! BUT.... had 6 games this weekend. Two show the wrong amount of innings pitched in the final pitching game stats. Both show 1 less inning for the pitcher. The scorebook is correct for the innings. The number of batters faced in stats match the book for correct innings. This is slowpitch and not tracking pitches, if that helps. Also have a 5 run limit per inning and these games had inning that was ended with that rule. Any ideas?

IP for pitchers is calculated based on numbers of outs (i.e. 3 outs = 1 inning.) If you had an inning that was ended due to run limits, then that is why your pitcher is not getting credit for that inning.
