total stats ...

Post by knights28 » Tue Mar 26, 2013 3:24 am

Hi... being new at this, I'm wondering if I missed something in the settings but I can't find any season stats for a players while I mark a game.... if I press the players in the lineup, the player card shows up and game by game stats appear but there's no totals!

did I miss anything? if not, wouldn't it be nice to be able to see the players totals for the season when he comes to bat? or the pitcher's stats when he's on the mount?

thanks!

You can go to Team Manager, select your team, and select the Stats button from there to see totals for each player.

yes that I know....but I think it would be nice to have those stats on the main screen while you score a game....not all stats of course but something like AVG - HR - RBI for batters when they come to bat and ERA - W - L - S for pitchers when they're on the mount

just a suggestion.... I'm happy with the product with or without that, but it could be even more fun to have this!

thanks!

We will add the request to our enhancement list. Out of curiosity, how does this help the scorekeeper to score the game? This seems more like a reporting function or viewer function (the iScorecast viewer can see these stats already) than a scorekeeper function.

if Im sitting in the stands marking a game, I found interesting to see the next batter's highlights (like I said previously as an example, AVG-HR-RBI for hitters) without having to go on the team's manager section.... just like if you watch a game on tv....the upcoming batter will come to the plate and they will show on the screen, his AVG-HR-RBI stats and what he did in his previous at bats. This thing is for the scorekeeper's eyes only since you can see those things on iscorecast!

Rookie iScore scorekeeper here as I haven't even scored a game yet with iScore, so I'm reading posts to gain some knowledge.

With that said, I'd agree with a desire for career/season stats viewable while scoring. We're just an 11u team so I sit close to bench sharing observations (and some observations they even appreciate lol) and I could see reminding our coach about a player prior to the at bat.

Maybe I'm over thinking it, but it sounds useful.
