I would like to see an option for foul ball errors.

The only downside is with it not being an option you can't go back in pitch by pitch to fix if it was missed. Which completely changes ERA

Agreed. But you can edit the stats, adding an error to player and reducing earned runs from pitcher as needed.

So if entered manually it will correct all the other stats. Lets say above occurred and 4 runs scored. I would have to fix all that myself and calculate what was earned and what wasn't.

To me with all the features it has why not just add it under " in play" then a button for "foul with error".

If you use Misc -> Assign Error the stats will be calculated automatically.

It does not fit in the "In Play" menu because that means a ball was put in play (and the batter is going to reach base).

It does not fit in the "Out" menu because that means the batter made an out.

We have it in Misc because that is the only place it fits.
