Catching getting PO?

On one of our recent games the catcher was credited with 11 PO's. I do not have him for any. There were 11 strike outs. Does he get credit for them? The pitchers were not given any?

Yes, catchers get the credit for put out on strikeouts. (strange, but true)

There are a lot of non-obvious things that a catcher gets credited with a put out for. From MLB Rulebook:

10.09 Putouts
...
(b) The official scorer shall credit an automatic putout to the catcher when a:
(1) batter is called out on strikes;
(2) batter is called out for an illegally batted ball;
(3) batter is called out for bunting foul for his third strike;
Rule 10.09(b)(3) Comment: Note the exception in Rule 10.15(a)(4).
(4) batter is called out for being touched by his own batted ball;
(5) batter is called out for interfering with the catcher;
(6) batter is called out for failing to bat in his proper turn;
Rule 10.09(b)(6) Comment: See Rule 10.03(d).
(7) batter is called out for refusing to touch first base after receiving a base on balls, after being hit by a pitch
or after a catcher’s interference ; or
(8) runner is called out for refusing to advance from third base to home plate.

Thanks for your help. That is definitely the craziest rule I've heard in a long time!

It does seem strange, but it is the catcher who gets the out.

The pitcher's K's are recognised in the pitcher's stats.

On a dropped third strike,KE2, the pitcher is still credited with the K and the catcher gets the error.

Also.. if you want to be technically correct in standard (MLB) scoring, a drop 3rd strike is not considered an Error (K E2 as you suggested), it is recored as a passed ball,

you can choose how you want to score your games, but just thought i would point that out..

So if a pitcher throws a ball over a catchers head and the batter swings at it anyway, or if a pitcher pitches a ball 4 ft. outside...why is iscore charging it as a pass ball to the catcher when he has no chance of catching it?

And what I meant above is on a third strike with first base unoccupied?

Then how do you score a third strike tip that is caught by the catcher on iscore??? I do not see a place or call for that. And also a batter's interference with the catcher on his throwdown to second or third or first in the event a throwdown is trying to occur. I could not find that either.

That should be scored as a wild pitch...not a passed ball. Or are you saying you score it as a wild pitch and it shows up as a passed ball?
