Re: QAB?
If you do a Recalc of the stats for your old games they will be updated.ixamnis wrote:maybe I should take this discussion to the android forum, but is there something I need to set to get the QAB's to show up from my old games. Right now they are all zeros.

Re: QAB?
There is no point value. If one of the items that make up the QAB value occurred for that batter during the at bat, they are given a QAB for that at bat.Boom wrote:is there a way to set the point value for each item.

Re: QAB?
I think the intent of the stat is to be absolute. Either it was or wasnt a QAB, based on the set parameters.
However, when you get access to customizing, you could create a scoring system using the 3 QABs in aggregate.
For example put low, med and high items in QAB1, only med and high in QAB2 and only high in QAB3. Then add the 3 together to get a weighted score.
If a single is a 1, an rbi is a 2 and a HR is a 3, then:
Single = QAB1 = 1, QAB2 = 0, QAB3 = 0 Total = 1
RBI = QAB1 = 1, QAB2 = 1, QAB3 = 0 Total = 2
HR = QAB1 = 1, QAB2 = 1, QAB3 = 1 Total = 3
I think that makes sense, but I'm just making this up as I type, so who knows...

Re: QAB?
I agree. Having a scoring system would be great because some achievements are harder than others. For example a 7 pitch at bat is easier than a 12. Also as a team you might want them to focus on achieving certain things more.
Either way I just love having the new feature. It's a great addition.

Re: QAB?
fyi.. for Android users, yes, there was an issue where QAB was not calculating in some situations. With ixamnis's data we were able to find the issue and will be submitting an update for Android (v4.03) today that will fix this issue. It will require doing a recalc to get the updated QAB stats.
