Deleting games off admin website
Deleting games off admin website
I need to know how to delete games from 2012 season off of the admin website. I deleted them from iPad as well as the league and exported data. Games still show up and I need to get them removed. Reason why is because I need the stats to be reflected for games played in 2013 season only. I don't want any carry over stats from games played in 2012
Re: Deleting games off admin website
deleting games is generally not best practice. Are you certain this is what you wanted to do? Most people will leave everything on the device and use Leagues to filter out what they dont want to view.
For more information on league usage see here:
http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... eagues.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This way you could keep the 2012 stats and the 2013 stats, but have them separated.
If you are sure you wanted to delete them, Options->Export will update the Admin site.
If having second thoughts, Options->Import will retrieve the data from the Admin site and put it back on device.

I've already deleted the games from my Ipad and the league as well. I exported data after I deleted the games but they still show up on website. I need to get rid of all games played during 2012 season.

If you have deleted them from your device and they are still showing up after an Export, it sounds like you likely have gotten a new device. Go to the Options screen and verify the customer ID is the one you are entering when going to the Admin Website.
If it is, the other possibility is you are looking at iScorecasts. To delete iScorecasts, follow the instructions here:

Deleting a league does not remove games from the device, it just hides them. Go to League Manager and put a check next to the All league on your device, and you will see all the games are still there. If you truly want to delete them, you have to select them one at a time from Game Manager and then delete from the Game Info screen. We recommend not actually deleting games however. We recommend using leagues to group them into seasons so you always have access to your historical data.

redzone.
Mark's and Supports counsel was the best! the recommended practice is to not delete games, but instead learn to use leagues to store and filter stats and games.
That said, when you say games are on admin site, Are you talking about games or iscorecasts?
let me be specific... On the admin web site, the second tab in the gray menu bar is games, when you click that "games" there are two boxes in middle of page, one called "exported" and one called "scorecasts".. are you showing games under both exported and scorecast?
games under Socrecasts are removed right there on admin web site with the delete link for each game.
exported games are removed first from the device and then Option Export just reflects what is on your device. If they are on admin site, they are on your device (perhaps filtered by league)
