Switching from ERA/9 to ERA/7 (for fast pitch softball)
Question: is there a way to switch from ERA/9 to ERA/7 (for fast pitch softball)?
Re: Switching from ERA/9 to ERA/7 (for fast pitch softball)
If you have the innings set for 7 in the game options, iscore will actually calculate both.
ERA stat refers to ERA calculation based on number of innings game was set to (7 in your case)
ERA9 stat refers to ERA calculation based on 9 innings
ERA stat refers to ERA calculation based on number of innings game was set to (7 in your case)
ERA9 stat refers to ERA calculation based on 9 innings

Re: Switching from ERA/9 to ERA/7 (for fast pitch softball)
The "ERA" stat will always be based on the number of innings you set up for the game. So if you are creating games with 7 scheduled innings, the "ERA" stat will be ERA/7. We always also include ERA9 so you can do apples to apples comparisons between pitchers that pitch in different length games.
