Re: iScorecast Preview
For Yankees fans, we have now posted the 8/6/2009 Red Sox at Yankees game (Yankees win 13-6) as another sample iScorecast courtesy of Gatorboy.
It can be seen from the same sample link at:

Re: iScorecast Preview
Is this something that we will be able to upload games to AFTER they've been completed? Or is this strictly a real-time feature?
Also, is there a way to 'fast-foward' or 'rewind' to a particular part of the game?

You can "publish" games after they have been completed. You can also send the plays out in real time. The Padres game that is up there now was actually sent in real time, and is now available for watching as a replay. If you remove the "&replay=1" from the querystring when you launch the game, you will see the game at the end point, and can review the pitch by pitch listing.
We are also making it so you can jump to any half inning by clicking in the box score for the point in the game you want to jump to... that is not implemented yet, but will be soon. (And it does not require Apple's approval for us to update the iScorecast view, so you will see it as soon as we are finished testing it.

iScorecast is GREAT!
I have a couple of questions though:
1. How do you delete old games that you no longer need for your visitor to see?
2. I currently use the iTouch to score games with a wi-fi connection and will be switching to the iPhone soon how do I transfer the games that I have on the iTouch to the iPhone? Do I need to purchase the app for the iPhone or does it transfer also?

Re: iScorecast Preview
We will be adding a web interface that will allow you to delete old games very soon.
As long as you link your iPhone to the same account as your iTouch in iTunes, you will not need to purchase the application again. Apple allows applications to be installed on up to five devices as long as they are all linked to the same account. When you do the switch, you can run Export from both devices (this establishes accounts for them on our servers), then send your customer ID from each device (it is on the Options screen), and we can transfer your data from the iTouch to the iPhone for you.
Thank you.

Re: iScorecast Preview
How can we provide a link to a live (or replay) game like you did on the Screenshots page?
http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... e&replay=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: iScorecast Preview
We will be allowing links like that as part of "team portals" when we start offering that.
Re: iScorecast Preview
NY Beers ...
Although you can not send a link to a singular game until team portals are live, you can send folks a link to your personal iscorcast scoreboard and manage what games are on your scoreboad through iscorecentral today.
The link you send is.. http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... c=XXXXXXXX
where XXXXXXX is you customer id.
you can manage what games are on the scoreboard at .http://my.iscorecentral.com/
