Duplicate rows in Excel stats for players entered in game

Post by dwarmke » Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:27 pm

Hi,

My son's team occasionally adds new players. Sometimes I have added those new players to the line-up directly from within "Game Manager", rather than going to "Team Manager" and entering them there. When I do these "late additions", the stats generator doesn't compile all those "late player" stats into one. For example, I entered "Nick O'Donnell" in "Game Manager" right before the game started. I did it for each game of a 4-game tournament. At the end of the tournament I email the stats to myself. The Excel spreadsheet has 4 rows, each with one of Nick O'Donnell's games. I would like Nick O'Donnell to be treated the same as if I had entered him within Team Manager, and then gone to Game Manager to start those games.

Thanks,
Doug (A very satisfied customer - great app!)

If you are re-typing the names, then the player is treated as a different player. If you are selecting "Nick O'Donnell" from the player list, then he should be the same player. If you are selecting from the list, and he is still being listed twice, we would like to take a look at your database. If that is the case, please export your database (Options Menu, Export) and email us your customer ID (bottom left of Options menu) to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false.

Thank you.
