Here is a real scoring issue. 1 out -man on second. The hitter hits a hard grounder up the middle. The shortstop makes a diving stop. In the mean time the runner on second has taken off for third. As he rounds third he decides to head home and attempt to score. The shortstop, instead of throwing to first, throws to the plate, where the runner, originally on second , is tagged out by the catcher. The hitter is safe at first.
I scored this play as a filders choice 6-2. The problem is that the automatically generated score sheet shows the runner being tagged out between second and third, instead of between 3rd and home. Is there a different way to score a play like this so that the score sheet shows the put out occurring between 3rd and home?

When it asks what happened to the runner on 2nd, be sure to select Out, Home, Tagged Out. The key is selecting Home. By default, it is going to select Third for you. This is not something you can edit post game, but you can undo back to that point if it happened late in the game, then re enter after that point.
It may be easier just to put a note on the play. The statistics will be no different.

Thanks so much. I didn't see that option in the heat of the moment and yes, I tried to correct the scoring post game and couldn't. Otherwise, a great app. It's so much better than my old scorebook. I've done about 15 games and I'm getting much quicker. By next season I hope to be fast enough to chart pitch locations.
