ipad was reset-lost all data!

Post by lmrasmussen21 » Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:07 am

My ipad had to be reset and I have no data! I tried the import but nothing seems to be importing! I was using the iscorecast option for others to view but not sure if I ever did an "export". Just starting using this program this season. Thanks!

Its critical to do an export after every game to ensure a backup exists.

Good news is that since they were iscorecasted, they should exist on FTM's servers and should be able to be recovered.

I would contact FTM directly, support@iscoresports.com and ask them the best way to proceed. You can use data-sharing, but they may have an easier way.

To data share, use "SC:xxxxxxxxxx" where x=your customer id and your regular password.

More info on data sharing: http://iscoreleagues.com/iscorewebsite/ ... _share.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(Mprusak beat me to the post, .. i agree with his comments.. but here are mine if it helps too)

If you never exported, there is no way for the main server to have a copy of your data. but all is not lost..If you used iscorecast, a copy of the game(s) should be on the iscorecast server.
(note to all, export often, after scored game!!)

You can retrieve games from iscorecast server into your handheld device ... .with Option > Data Sharing through the "sc:" trick, here is how

Main screen > Options > Data Shareing > Get From Web Data base >
when prompted for the Customer ID , add "SC:" in front of your device id ....
example... SC:12345678 where 12345678 is your device ID

(Your customer ID can be found under Main Screen > Options, at bottom of Screen called Customer ID your password can be found under Main Screen > Options> Admin Website).

Let us know how it goes

Thanks for the quick responses! In the future, after I score a game, how to I export so this doesn't happen again?
