I scored a play as a single, with the batter reaching third on a E9. After the game I was shown some video that made me realize there was no error involved. I went into the pitch-by-pitch to correct the play and give the child a triple, but the only option available is a single. How do I correct this?

There is no way to change a single + error into a triple. If you had entered a triple, that could be changed to a hit + error, but not the opposite direction as it is multiple events in the database.
You can edit the stats directly however and add a note to the play. Go to Game Manager, select the game, selecting Batting Stats, and increase the 3B count for the player and decrease the 1B count. You can add a note to the pitch in the Pitch by Pitch listing to let anyone viewing that data to see it was actually a triple.
