While scoring the Mets/Braves game on 7/14; the Mets went to the bull pen to bring in pitcher Josn Edgin for R. A. Dickey. Even though I had updated my Stats/Rosters to current, this pitcher was nowhere to be found. So, I added him manually and I was not able to add him as he still wasn't showing up.
Unfortunately, I had to stop scoring this game!
Now What???

We are not sure why you did not get Josh Edgin in the updated roster. We get new feeds of the data every morning about 6am. We just did a refresh data on a device here and see that Josh is in the roster for the Mets.
If that ever happens in the future, you can always create a new player and add the player to the roster any time by going to Misc -> Show Starting Lineup, and using the Add Player option.

I have always had this issue too - inactive players don't come back. For example Jose Bautista is back in for Toronto tonight and when I synced the lineup the appeared as ??Jose Bautista RF?? on the pop up but disappeared when I closed it. I updated again, even though my 2012 Major League Daily Rosters, Lineups and Stats indicated 'current'. Each game I usually have to add a player to the starting lineup manually, then add a, usually, relief pitcher later. I just checked, Josh Edgin does appear on my device.

As noted above, we get our data feeds at about 6am pacific. If a player is added to a roster after that time, we would not get them until the following day.
