Multiple galleries

Post by mwhittington » Tue Jul 03, 2012 7:54 am

i noticed on one of the sample websites that a team has a smugmug URL. I also have smugmug and can add the url so that it shows one of my galleries. How do i show multiple. if i put it in the URL in Iscore won't it replace the current gallery?

I would like to have multiple folders (galleries) in Smugmug - 1 for each game or event. I know it is possible because I can see that the other team did it but i'm just not sure how to do it.

thanks,

Mike

We don't know much about how smugmug works, but if it can give you a single URL with multiple galleries, you can plug that URL in. If the URLs are Flash objects, you can paste multiple of them into the photo URL one after the other. Same if they are IFRAMEs.

I will contact SmugMug to figure it out. At least I can get 1 gallery on there so I know it is possible.

another question - I noticed also on a website that a team had their Iscorecast link there on the front page so that their parents could go straight to it. I would like to do that also - but how can i do that so that the password could be bypassed. I just want people to be able to go to it without a password and not bug me about password or website.

thanks

If by password, you are talking about the Customer ID that the iScorecast normally asks for, you can use the URL http://iscorecast.com/?c=XXXX" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and replace the XXXX with the name of your team website. If your teamwebsite URL is "http://iscorebaseball.com/mycoolteam", then the XXXX would be replaced with "mycoolteam" in the above URL.
