Player Card Photo

Post by wdomon » Mon Jul 02, 2012 10:59 am

I looked through the forums, and was unable to find any answer on this after 2009 (plenty of updates have been made since then) so I'm asking again.

Taking a photo for the player card is a great feature, however I cannot seem to find the option to remove the photo from the player card. I took a picture of my dog just testing the feature out, and now my dog shows up next to our pitcher on the roster... Has an option been implemented to remove this? The 2009 post stated to upload a "blank image," however that causes an issue for me since no other players are going to have a photo, and when I use the PDF file that is exported with the hitting chart, I want it to look uniform and not have a blank box to the left of the hitting chart when no other players have that. Any help or workarounds are appreciated!

I believe you have to upload another photo to replace it, generally speaking.

That said, I bet FTM could help you out. You may want to email them directly with your information.

Do you not have an actual image for this player? You can upload the actual image to replace the dog photo.

If you would like us to remove the image for you, send an email to support@iscoresports.com with your customer ID (found on Options screen), and which player it is, and we can remove the photo completely.

Email sent, thank you very much for your quick response and offering to remove it for me.

The reason I didn't want to replace it, is because I was not planning on utilizing the player photo feature, but had taken a random picture to test it out. If the player does not have a photo uploaded, the PDF player card does not have a box for the photo. If the player has an image uploaded, even a blank one, then the PDF has a box in the top left where the image will be. I didn't want the pitcher to have a blank square on his PDF, while everyone else on the team didn't, just wanted to keep it all uniform. Thanks again for your support!

My player displays the team logo while everyone else shows a player photo. To be able to show his face on iscorecast I have to change the team logo to his photo on the admin website. How can I fix that?

You can upload his photo on the admin website and it will be used on the iScorecast instead. See this link from our FAQ:

Not poking fun in any way to the original poster, but I literally shot coffee out my nose when I read the first post! I can just see Cujo on deck in the ScoreCast stream.
