Editing Player Numbers once a game has started

Post by atf » Thu Sep 10, 2009 7:38 am

In the previous version, I manually created a roster similiarly to the way you create the quick roster now. Once a game started, I could edit the players number in the team manager, then see that corrected player number in active roster. In version 2.x, I can not edit a player's number either in the team manager or directly by selecting the player in the active roster during the game. Is there a way to do that? My understanding of the new version was that I would be able to edit any player anytime during the game. It seems that I can sub, switch or move a player anywhere now but I can't edit his uniform number once the game has started. This makes the new version much more cumbersome to manage than the older version. Any thoughts? Just a note, I can edit the lineup before the game starts but once the game starts, the lineup button disappears.

Click on the "Misc" button in the scoring screen, then click "Show Starting Lineup". You can make your edits there. We moved it under the Misc option because we had far too many people trying to make substitutions using the Lineup screen, and then their data would be wrong because they did not do a substitution. The lineup screen should only be used to change the starting lineup, and make edits like you are trying to do here.
