Wrong player in team stats

We have an opposing player in our team stats. He played for us last season, played one game against us this season. I have checked, double, triple checked. All league and team checks are correct for this year and he is on the inactive list for last year. Yet he and his one game stats against us this year show up on our team stats page. Ideas? Thanks

If you remove the player from your Team Roster, then he should not show up in stats. Team Stats will only show players in your Team Roster.

No other "inactive" players from previous years show up in our stats. His stats are from the game he played against us as he is on another team this year.

We understand that. If you remove the player from your Team Roster, he will no longer show up on your team stats. The issue is that the underlying player ID is the same on both teams, and the app sees the active player from the other team for this player and that the player is on your team and includes the player in the stats. This is an issue we will fix in a future update, but for now, you can remove the player from your team and the player will not show up in your team stats.

just so I don't do anything I can't fix, your saying that making this player inactive is not enough that I should delete him from the roster. Won't that remove all of his stats from our last years team?

Yes, that is correct. You will not see him on your last year's team if you do that.

Another option would be to create that player again (create a player with the same name), and put that player on the opposing team. Then replace the current player with that name with the new player on the roster of the other team and in the lineup for the other team.

You can do all of this by editing the starting lineup for that team in the game --- go to Game Manager, select the game, select Pitch by Pitch, tap Edit next to Starting Lineup and remove the current player, and add in a new player with the same name in the spot that player was in.
