Youth Set Lineups

Hi,

To start I want to say how much I love the app. My daughters travel ball team loves it also. A request I would like to see implemented: Set lineups ahead of time. I coach a Little League SB team and there are rotation rules etc. Generally the girls are moving around every inning, except pitchers. I would like to be able to load up a lineup for each inning ahead of time to simplify things between innings. Not sure how this would be implemented from a data entry perspective. Maybe a special mode for youth sports that allows this in the game options. I think I had seen another request like this, but couldn't find it.

This already exists on iOS devices. When the lineup screen comes up prior to beginning the game tap the Options button, then tap "Preset Fielders" and you can enter the defensive positions for the entire game.

Is this planned for Android? I have a Xoom tablet I use to score games.

Going through other threads I also wondered about inning run rules. In our league there is a 5 run rule, unlimited in final inning(6th or called last for time). Is that in any version? I have looked at the iPad and might consider it if the different features are available only there.

We will be adding the Preset Fielders to Android in a future release.

To handle run limits per inning, you can use Misc -> End Inning (actually ends the half inning) when a team reaches there runs allowed for an inning.

Yep, that is what I do now. Just a request to integrate it, although I understand it can be hard. I know in tournaments there are more complicated rules for it such as 7 runs for the first 3 innings, 5 for the 4th and 5th, and 4 after that as an example. If it gets on the list thats all I ask

I will look forward to the update that includes the entire game lineups for android, it will make one less thing to rush to do during games.
