I'm scoring for a local high school team and trying to fit this in my normal post game process. We're in tournaments now so it's really more for next year. After each home game, I call in game statistics to the local paper. They normally ask for runs by inning, total hits, total errors, winning and losing pitchers, and save (if applicable). I see how to get all that. They also ask for any extra base hits. I can get them from the team batting sheets but having a single box score would be easier to use. Unfortunately, I don't see how to get one from within the app. I can email it to myself but don't have access from the field. Is there any way to see the box score on the iPad using the app?
Thanks,

Re: Box Score from within the app
The email box score option was created specifically for this case --- so you can email the box score to your local paper.
The batting stats is the way to see the extra base hits. If you view the stats from the main scoring screen, you can quickly toggle between home and visitor stats without having to exit out of stat viewing and selecting the opposing team if you are reporting the box score for both teams.

So, printing the box from within the app has been sweet! Thanks so much for that. I wonder, however, if you could add the positions of the players in that view? Just a humble request. Thanks!

Re: Box Score from within the app
The issue is that in youth league, players change positions every inning in many cases. We understand that at higher levels that does not happen, but a large part of our user base is youth leagues where players play multiple positions every game, even swapping positions every other inning. Very difficult to try and show that in a box score.

Yeah... that sounds familiar. I think I may have asked for this in the past and been given the exact same answer. Sorry about that!
