Editing starting lineup after game has begun.....

Post by Jkemp18 » Sat May 12, 2012 5:52 am

I have been struggling with my scorebook when I modify my starting lineup from the "MISC", "Show Starting Lineup" link. If I am already several innings into the game, and realize I am on the wrong batter due to having someone in the batting lineup that should not have been....then modify my batters via the starting lineup link, it doesn't adjust the lineup.....should it have corrected this?

That is the correct way to modify the starting lineup. At bats are scored against a lineup position, and editing the starting lineup is how you say who started the game at each lineup position.

If you are doing substitutions, you would tab the players and then tap who is subbing for the player.

Training video 3 at this link shows how to do this:

Okay. That's what I thought....but why does the scorebook show the a plate appearance for the player that was removed from the game? From that point on, my scorebook is off by 1 batter

If you score for the tenth lineup position the scorebook will still show that spot. Removing a player from the lineup after scoring for that lineup position does not remove the at bat. You woul need to sub in a player to that spot or undo and remove the extra lineup position prior to scoring for it.
