Former player showing up in current year team stats

Have a former player - currently marked as inactive on the team roster and not batting - showing up in the team stats ever since my son's team played the former player's current team 8 days ago.

Prior to playing this team, the former player was not showing up in the team stats.

Have played with League and looked at the former player and he is active on his new team's roster.

Inactive players will still show up in Team Stats when viewing the Team Stats on the device. Inactive just means that when you create new games, the player will not show up in the Lineup of new games.

If you do not want a player to show up in Team Stats, you should remove the player from the roster altogether.

I have this same problem. The issue I have with this is that when you view the same "team stats" on the website, these people do not appear in the list. It is only on my iPad that this happens.

If you remove the player from the roster, do their historical statistics with the team also get deleted?

Removing a player from a team does not delete their stats. It just makes it so when you view team stats on the device that player is not included. If you go to their player card you would still see the stats for all their games.
