Player Manager - no league option on intial playerset up ..

Post by OhioTex » Fri Aug 28, 2009 8:07 pm

Found a couple minor annoyances/oddities when adding players in player manager and assigning them leagues...

i) When adding a new player in player manager for the first time.... you do not get the option to assign the league, you have to save and then come back to assign the league. (why?)

ii) For existing player, when you go to edit the league or name, you need to assign the league before you make the name edit, or you will loose your edits when you come back .
Not a big deal, just odd/annoying.

thanks

For (i) - When a player is added, they are added to all currently selected leagues by default. If we did not do it this way then people might add a new player, select a League that is not currently active and upon returning to the player list not see the player they just added.

After saving a player, you can then go back and change leagues if you would like.

We will look into (ii) - not sure why that is happening - possibly a bug.

Thank you.

understand why you did (i) -
(also explains why the leagues that were checked for my folks were what they were...i was scratching my head on why i would have done that for some)

ii - minor annoyance. not a big deal . once you know easy to work around.
