Changing number of outs

Post by holleyg » Wed Apr 04, 2012 4:14 pm

Our league lets everyone bat so there are many times ther emay be more than 3 outs per inning. Is there a way to allow unlimited amout of outs instead of it automatically changing to the next team batting after 3 outs. Thanks so much.

We do not have a way to play with different number of outs than three. You can use Misc -> Skip Batter and enter a note on how they made the out if it would be the third out.

We played a scrimmage game like this a few weeks ago. I set the game length to 15 innings, then whenever 3 outs were reached, I would do a misc -> end inning (for the other team) which would put the first team back up again. I would continue this until the first team batted thru. Then did the same for the other team. This worked because even though we were batting the full lineup, we were clearing the bases after 3 outs.

Looked a little goofy in the scorebook, with each inning spanning 2-3 innings for one team, with no activity in those innings for the other.
