The copy lineup to roster will save the current game's lineup for the next time that team plays a game. If there are no or few changes to the batting order, it will save you time. Also if you use quick roster to set up a team, and then edit the players' names as you go, copy lineup to roster will save the palyers' names in the team and player manager.

Thanks team mom....

so if i understand you correctly, before starting a new game, i would copy lineup from previous game. Once i start a new game, the teams lineup will be the previous games.

Wow...this will save time....

Thanks Again....

It does not copy lineup from the previous game, but from the current game. You use copy lineup to roster in your first game (or first time playing an opponent if you want to save their lineup.) That lineup is then automatically used as the lineup the next game (and subsequent games until you copy a different lineup.)

(You can go back to a previous game and copy the lineup if you failed to do so during the game. But you have to do it from the prior game, not the current game. Hope that makes sense.)

@team mom ... how do you copy the lineup to roster from a previous game that has already been completed?

Thanks ...

Go to game manager, select the game, select pitch by pitch, tap game starts, tap edit next to starting lineup and you can then do copy lineup to roster.
