2012 Rosters

Post by jlondon81 » Tue Apr 03, 2012 10:12 am

I just purchased the 2012 rosters for my iPhone 4S but I still had the 2011 rosters loaded. I now have duplicate teams, rosters, etc. Is there a way to delete the 2011 data? I didn't see this covered elsewhere on the forum so apologies if it has been asked already.

For anyone reading this thread, the easiest thing to do would be go to League Manager, and remove the check marks next to the 2011 leagues to hide the 2011 data.

I am new to this app. I read that if I get the MLB Rosters they will "appear" on game day. Can someone elaborate on this for me? Also, due to my work schedule I watch many games delayed but "live" to me...will this feature still work or will the stats that appear giveaway the game outcomes?

Thank you.

Here is a link that shows the MLB Roster usage details:

http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _usage.php

You have to have at least loaded the Rosters one time from the Options -> Add Ons screen. From then on, you can use the Sync option from the lineups for each game daily to retrieve that team's daily updated roster and the starting lineup for the day. The daily roster must be loaded that day to make it automatic... it only looks at each day's daily roster. You can do it after the day's game up until midnight (at which time the server starts looking at the new day's schedule to determine starting lineups).

Scoring on a delay to the live game is no problem. Stats for the players are updated daily on our servers at around 6am Pacific time. So as long as you do your updates prior to that time, you will not have the stats from the previous day. Even after that, the only way you could potentially determine the outcome would be to look at the pitcher's stats and see if they had a Win or Loss (and assumes you know the pitcher's record).
