Counter next to pitch location
I am new to Iscore. So far, I love it. Getting ready for my daughter's season and have been creating games with different situations to get a feel for it. But what is the counter next to the pitch location box. I think it is a pitch counter, but can't get it working. Help?

Allows you to set the speed of the pitches if you were tracking this.

iscore has two ways to mark speed.
The one we are referring to with the scroller to the left of the pitch location area is simply a way to enter the speed of the pitch (that you measured using a gun or whatever).
So if pitcher throws a 75 mph fastball, you select the speed of 75 in the scroller, you select fastball in the list of pitches, you chart the pitch in the location area, then select, ball, strike, out, in play, etc.
The second way is to have iscore attempt to approximate the pitch speed by calculating the time it takes from the pitcher's hand to the catcher's glove based on the distance you have the mound set to.
To do this, press and hold in the pitch location area. You will see a timer appear (continue to hold down). Release when the pitcher releases the ball. Tap the location as soon as the catcher catches the ball. iscore will calculate the speed. Adjust the location as necessary, by retapping the exact location (hard to locate perfectly initially when you are trying to time the tap to the catcher, but you can retap or drag it around to any location).
Again, make sure mound distance is set correctly in settings (icon directly below the pitching location area).
As you can imagine this method is far from precise.

Thanks. For my daughters softball team, speed is not important, we more worried about throwing strikes.
