Lineup change redid all prior games

Post by Airmunch » Mon Mar 19, 2012 5:56 pm

A different lineup was entered in the master of the third game and it overwrote all the stats from two prior games. How do I get them back?

We do not understand what you mean by "the master of the third game".

A change to a lineup in one game does not change the lineup in any other games. If you start changing names/numbers of players in the lineup, that changes the name of the actual player record, so yes, you have to make sure you are consistent and don't just start changing names of existing players each game. Here is a quick explanation of how things work:

The Team Roster defines the roster for your team. When you create a new game, the Roster becomes the default lineup for that game. In both cases, there is an underlying "player" record that holds the name, but the player number and position is stored for each game (players can wear different jerseys game to game).

Sounds like you edited existing playerl names instead of adding new players or moving existing players. This would affect prior games as you have changed the underlying person. However, moving players around in a lineup or adding players will not affect prior games.
