Pitch speed

Post by Camerabry » Fri Dec 23, 2011 9:41 am

I use the pitch speed every once and a while and I noticed that the speed seems to get attached to the previous pitch as opposed to the current pitch.

If you look at the play by play, the pitch that just happened has no mph, but the pitch prior shows it, but it's from the pitch that just happened, not the pitch that caused that ball or strike.

Is that a bug, or how it is supposed to be?

You can decide whether to enter pitch information first, or after a pitch. From the scoring screen, go to Options, and you will see the "Pitch Location First" setting. This applies to all pitch information. Some people prefer to enter the pitch information first, then the play. Others prefer to enter the play first, then the pitch information.
