Customizing iScoreCast

Post by tjans » Sat Nov 05, 2011 8:38 pm

Are there plans to open up the iScoreCast data to developers? It would be neat if I had an API that I could use to retreive iScoreCast data and output it in a way that I desire as opposed to being locked into the provided flash or html versions...great as they are.

I use iScore for Strat-O-Matic, and have a project where I want to display iScoreData on a mini score-board (using an old iPhone as the display) and want to customize the look of the output. I realize this might be an odd request, but for people who like to customize things I think an API would be pretty cool.

For people that have Team Websites with us, we have a data feed that can be made available. Email us directly at sales@iscoresports.com with the URL of your Team Website if you have one, and we can give you more information.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

Thanks for the fast response. Unfortunately, since I use this for SOM, i'd need a team website for every team I play with, and at $20 a crack, that isn't feasible. I don't need all the functionality of displaying a team's stats and whatnot, just a data feed for currently ongoing games.

Thanks again, I know this requirement likely doesn't serve a purpose for most people, so if it's not available, I understand. I will have to resort to just displaying random pics or something on my scoreboard instead of live game data.
