Hitting Stats?

Post by Paul » Tue Oct 25, 2011 7:36 am

That's not quite the right title, but couldn't think of a better one. You know how next to the batter as the game progresses, it will say "BATTER 1-3, single, groundout, flyout"? Well, is there a way to say "BATTER 1-3, single (2nd), groundout (5th), flyout (7th)" Oh man, that would make my day. I appreciate your response and hope to see it someday.

The hit results are shown in the order they occurred, so even without the inning, you would know the order of the at bats. The space can be very limited for showing these results, so adding text would not be something we would prefer to do. Can you help us understand how showing the inning next to the result helps improve the scorekeeping process, and maybe we can come up with an alternative? You can always look at the Scorecard as well to see this.

FTMSupport.... It won't enhance the scoring expierence at all. My friends and I like to play Stratomatic Baseball (on their forums, I sing your praises, FYI) and when we play I like to say things like "Grounded out in the 3rd" or things like that. So, your logic makes sense and can understand that you don't want to add type. Just gets old to call up the scorecard every batter. No big deal. Thanks for your response.
