Missed an offensive substitution

Post by chuckd » Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:41 pm

OK, I missed an offensive substitution, which resulted in an at bat being recorded to the original batter in the lineup. I thought I could go to the Game Record, Pitch by Pitch and go to the exact batter and do an offensive substitution.

However, this does not change anything with the scoring for this batter. Each pitch is still credited to the incorrect original batter.

Is the only way to correct this to restore the game? That's really not an attractive option!

Thanks for any advice,

Chuck

Doing the offensive substitution from Pitch by Pitch on the correct pitch should update all the statistics as well. If it did not, you can try using the "Recalc" option from the Batting Stats screen for that game. If this still does not fix it, if you can do an Options -> Export, and email your customer ID (found on Options screen) to support@iscoresports.com, and let us know which game/player you substituted that is not being credited with the stats, we can take a look at your data.

Great. The data has been synchronized, and I've sent an email with our customer ID. Thanks for the quick reply!

By the way, the Recalc unfortunately did not fix the problem.

@chuckd.. this is a standard thing "fixing a missed substitution" and editing in the pitch by pitch should work.. hopefully FTM has solved your specific issue b/c this is a routine thing you should be able to correct in pitch by pitch editor
