Hiding a player in the stat totals

We have guest players from time to tme and I would like to run the total team stats with and with out those guest players. I have created a guest league for those players and have also created leagues for each tournament i want to pull stats from. I have put the guest players into the guest league and unchecked "all" and "default" yet I still can't get my total stats to run with out the guest players. I'm sure I am just missing something very simple.

Keep the guest players in the lineups for the games but do not put them in your team roster. Cumulative stats only show for the players in your roster.
