Maybe this is available on the iPad, still learning my way around this killer app!!
On the website I can view a team hitting chart, where all players hitting scatter plots are listed on a single page. Is there anywhere on the iPad I can do this?
I know I can view individual hitting charts, but it would be more beneficial if I could view all players charts. Taking it even one step further and allowing this to be chosen from inside a game and showing the hitting scatter plots in order of lineup would be super cool.

Completely agree. Sometimes if we've played some teams numerous times and the chart really shows a tendency I will email myself a PDF so I'll have it with me. Might be a cool option to look at though on the main option screen after you create the game. Or possibly in the Misc section.

With the iPad version of iScore, you can just tap each player on the lineups that are listed on the screen to see the player card which includes the hitting chart. So you can tap the player coming to bat, the on deck player, and the in the hole player for example. And with v3.35 or newer, doing this includes the at bats of the current game as well.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!

Yes, this is possible for sure, and it 'gets the job done', no doubt. But the format used on the web where the entire team is shown is much more handy to a defensive coach.FTMSupport wrote:With the iPad version of iScore, you can just tap each player on the lineups that are listed on the screen to see the player card which includes the hitting chart. This kinda plays back on my other post regarding real-time data sharing. Think of a coach in the dugout or on the field looking at a team hitting chart (like the one produced by the website) and when the scorer scores a hit, the data instantly trickles down to the coaches ipad hitting chart.

I'm surprised that you can take an iPhone/iPad on the field with you while your are in the coaches box on the field. We cannot take any mechanical/electronic devise that could be construded as a coaching aid onto the field here in Ontario (Canada)

I haven't been questioned about it, never really thought about it. I always have a clipboard with me on the field. I just referenced our rulebook (dizzy dean) and it doesn't make any mention of electronics. Regardless if they are allowed on the field or not, the dugout is where they are most valuable. A base-coach isn't going to spend a lot of time studying on the field, he's got base runners to worry about.brian_oshea wrote:I'm surprised that you can take an iPhone/iPad on the field with you while your are in the coaches box on the field.
