Hit Charts on Website
Re: Hit Charts on Website
I have been doing it like that. I creata a game and then add the
players to the lineup, I did not know that this would not put those
same kids on the teams roster. I did notice that when I go to a
team that the games I did that way they do not have any players on
them so is there any way to now go back to those specific games and
copy the lineups back to their rosters? I have also noticed that
some of the players do not show up with their jersey numbers in
the player list but they are their during the game that I have put
them into.

Re: Hit Charts on Website
Yes, copying the lineups back to the roster will also update the jersey #'s. To do this, go to Game Manager, select the game you want to copy the lineup from, select Pitch by Pitch, select the "Game Starts" event, select "Edit" to open the starting lineup, then for the team that has not been updated back to the Team Roster, click Options, then select "Copy Lineup to Roster".
After doing this for all the teams, do an Options->Export and you will be able to view the hit charts from the Admin Website for this team.
This will also make it so future games using the same team will default to this lineup as well.

Re: Hit Charts on Website
Thanks FTM but while I was waiting for a response I actually
went back to each individual game and did an undo. This
gave me the ability to show the lineup and then I went to
Options and copied to roster. Then from the play screen I just
Did redo to finish the game and it appears to have worked
But I still need to do an export and check the hit charts.
I will get back to you with the final results.

Re: Hit Charts on Website
Rosto -sounds like the cause for your missing hit charts has been resolved. did not think of that being the cause, good catch FTM.
also for future reference, you do not have to do undo/redo to edit line up.. in fact that is tailor made for Pitch by Pitch Editor, as FTM described, including the option to "update Roster based on line up".

YES FTM
everything is fine now, I can see all of my hit charts.
This is the most amazing software I have ever used for keeping baseball stats and I have tried at least 7 or 8 different packages costing upwards of $100 each.

Re: Hit Charts on Website
Could you explain how to filter hit charts on the device - I know it can currently be done for each individual player, is there a overall team hit chart by league?FTMSupport wrote:Filtering hit charts to a particular league is only an option on the device right now. The PDF version that is available on the Admin Website will show all hits for the users on the selected team.
We may add league filtering to that hit chart in the future as well, but it is not currently available.
BTW - This is the most amazing app ever - thank you!!!

Re: Hit Charts on Website
On the device, the hit charts are only available on a player by player basis. On the admin website, you can see the hit charts for an entire team but there is no filter by league option. On the optional team websites, it can filter by league.

Thank you for the response, we don't have the optional team site - may be something we will look into...
