Pitching mound distance problem

If I try to change the mound distance after the game has started, the app closes. If I set the mound distance before the game, it works fine. This is in the new version. Thanks!

We submitted an emergency fix to Apple that addresses this and also an issue with creating new games. We are hopeful they are going to approve the fix today. For the mound distance issue specifically, see this post:

I tried downloading the "fix" update via the app store. My iPad froze while the program was downloading. The mound distance problem still exists, so I guess the update didn't take and now the app store thinks the app is updated and installed on my iPad. Can/should I delete the app and re-install? If so, how do I do that? I don't want to lose any data. Thanks!

Just do an Options -> Export from within iScore and make sure you get a "Successful" message. This will put a copy of your data on our server. You can then remove the iScore application, re-install it, and after doing so, do an Options -> Import to retrieve your data back from the server.

Did as instructed...thanks. But, the mound distance still can't be changed once "play" is pressed. This isn't a huge deal; I'll just have to remember to change the distance when I set up the game. Thanks again for the great product.

When you say it can not be changed once play is pressed, what is happening when you try? We just did it with a test device here with no problem. Click the Tools button in the bottom right, tap the mound distance field, enter a new value, be sure to press "return" on the keyboard, and it should update just fine.

I did exactly as instructed. When I hit return, the program completely exits to my home iPad screen. Changing the number of innings works fine. The mound distance won't change. I guess I'll re-install the app again and see if it works.

I am able to change mound distance on my iPad..and not crash....hmmm.
