Multiple team websites - All games listed on iscorecast?

Post by Sixstringz » Thu Sep 22, 2011 1:55 pm

So my son plays on multiple teams and I have created websites for several of them. I like to put a link to follow the games live on each website. Not really a huge problem, but is there a way to make it so that iscorcast lists only the games for a particular team associated with my customer id, or will it always just list all games. Deleting games from my admin page is not really an option as what I would really want is each teams website to list only its games.

I hope I was clear... Is this possible?

Thanks

When you are referring to websites, are they iScore Team Websites? Or is this something you have created on your own?

If you are using the iScore Team Websites, the Games tab only shows the games for that team. In the future, we will be making the standard iScorecast list of games also filter by an iScore Team Website name. It will require having an iScore team website to do this however.

If you are using iScore Team Websites, if you can email us at support@iscoresports.com with the URLs of your team websites, we may be able to come up with a solution for you quicker.

Yes, I have several iscore team websites for the various teams my son plays on.

If I create a link on the team website to the scorecast player like:

http://iscorecast.com/?c=hhvipers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

in this case what I would like is to have the player only display games associated withe the Vipers team, however the player lists all games I have scored for all teams. I know I could go to my admin and delete scorecasts, but then they are not available for the other iscore team website I have.

Is there a way to filter or otherwise display only games associated with the team website specified in the url parameter. If not, are you considering or able to add that ability?

Once again, I hope that is clear.

Thanks for a great product and awesome support!

This has been a feature we have been thinking about for a long time, and it is now working.

For anyone that has a team website, if you go to:

http://iscorecast.com/?c=TEAMWEBSITENAME" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It will list only the iScorecasts for that team.

I have three team websites. It is working for two of them but not for the third. I can view the scorecasts through the direct link on the Games page of the website and they are listed when I use the customer ID, but not when I put that team name down. Ideas?

Is it some old iScorecasts? This feature relies on something we added about a year ago. If you do an iScoreCast Synchronize from the Game Info screen for any missing iScorecasts, it should update them. If it does not, let us know.

That was it. Thanks. BTW, the speed of the synchronize is much faster. I haven't had an opportunity to do that with the new version yet, and I'm impressed. Thanks for that as well.
