iScore Baseball v3.31 for iOS submitted to App Store

Post by FTMSupport » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:58 pm

We have submitted iScore Baseball for iPad and iPhone version 3.31 to Apple. It includes the following updates:
  • Pitch Timer Time the speed of your pitches to get a good estimate for MPH. Just place finger on the pitch location screen before the pitch, lift when the pitcher releases the pitch, and tap back down when the ball reaches the plate. Be sure to set your mound distance in Options for accurate MPH readings.
  • Pitch Speed Pitch speed is now shown in pitch by pitch listing
  • Hit Chart Improvement Hit charts on Player Card now include the hits for the current game as well as past games
  • Twitter Improvements Pre and post game tweets now send link directly to game listing. Tweets are automatically sent each time a new inning starts. Now uses "Short Name" for team if it exists to keep # of characters shorter
  • Support for "00" Jersey numbers now support "00" -> "09".
  • Improvements to Export Now shows a progress bar and works better even with bad connectivity. Also improved memory usage so low memory devices (early iPod Touches) should now be able to export larger databases
  • iScorecast Improvements Speed of a synchronize has been improved dramatically, iScorecast now more reliably resends data when there is a poor internet connection
  • Geo Location for Games You can now enable geo location services for games to get accurate placement on map for where your games are being scored
  • Player # Editing You can now update player numbers directly in the lineup screen by tapping the number. Saves a few taps when trying to quickly enter team #'s prior to game start
  • Illegal Pitch Can now select "Illegal Pitch" on the Misc menu for leagues that have this instead of or in addition to Balk
  • New Out / Safe Options Can now select "Left Base Path" as a way of being out, and "Defensive Obstruction" as a reason for being safe
  • Quick Lineup If you try and start a game with an empty lineup, now given an option to create a Quick Lineup (works like Quick Roster)
  • Home Run Edit Post Game Can now change a Home Run to a Triple + Error post game
  • Intentional Walk When pressing the Intentional Walk button, the pitcher is no longer charged with pitches (to support leagues with declared intentional walks). If you want the pitches to count, enter each intentional ball
  • Bug Fixes Fixed some rare crashes, stats spacing for large numbers, fixes for # of games played calculations for batting + feilding in some circumstances (player comes in ONLY as a Pinch or Courtesy Runner for example), double plays now negate RBIs only on GIDP (as opposed to other types of double plays), fix for scorecard pitcher change in certain case where editing subs in pitch by pitch, 9 innings now fits better in box score on main scoring screen, league manager now scrolls when there are many leagues, pitch speed range is now 0 - 110 MPH, fix for End Inning not always showing Preset Fielders correctly, fix for incorrect pitch count sometimes being displayed when using preset rosters, alert for questionable entries on runner screen (e.g. stealing first base)
As always, thank you to the iScore community and for all of your support.

My favorites would be "Support of 00" and the "Pitch Timer". The pitch timer is a surprise addition - it should be fun. Can't wait to use this new version - great job guys.

The "00" thing has always bugged me, but I thought I was the only one. I didn't even bother posting an enhancement request. Also, quicker jersey number input and "quick lineup" will be very nice. Thanks.

If we can get you to do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com and include which team you are seeing this issue with, we can take a look.

All of my teams. I can't create a game with my rosters that are already in here.

I exported before I did the update.

Just tried to import and still does it.

I haven't tried creating a new team with quick roster yet. I just exit out because I don't want to mess up the teams I have.
