I know that when I look at game stats via our team website, I can sort columns by the column heading. Is there anyway for me to sort my player list by the batting order? Our team coach still likes to maintain the books in a paper scorebook and it's easier to reconcile back to our team website if I can sort it that way.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Game Stats - Listing Players by batting order
Re: Game Stats - Listing Players by batting order
The stats can be sorted by any of the columns in the stat schedule. Since batting order may not be the same from game to game, it does not seem possible that this would be a regular sorting option for many teams. You could force a particular sorting order by editing the player names (i.e. putting a 1,2,3 before the name) and then you would be able to sort using that column. But this seems like a lot of editing in the event that batting order changes later.

Team Mom - I understand your point of view and agree with you on your editing comment. However, the batting order is correctly listed on the box score, so why it be listed that way in my game stats?
Just a thought.

Re: Game Stats - Listing Players by batting order
Fyi..on your handheld device, the stats are listed by batting order when viewed from the game info screen ..Game manager> select game > team- batting stats
(I suppose the coach that needs this can only view by web..)
The only real solve would be for FTM to add, position in order column.. That may be interesting to see by game too.. But a challenge when aggregating games..
