Mass export

Post by webshowpro » Thu Jul 14, 2011 5:45 am

Is there a way to "mass" export the CSV files for individual games for a team and/or league - without going into each individual game and emailing the stats?

I am trying to import each game into a spreadsheet as a separate sheet, and show end of year trends and graphs. I am NOT looking for the cumulative stats that are readily available on the team page.

There is not currently a way to export individual games other than one at a time.

not to sound like a shill for iscore, but the Team web site is a great tool for grabbing stats in different ways quickly.drill down on line or cut and paste into excel. for some the $20 subscription fee is more than justified for the time spent and ease .

Ohio, you've recommended that in the past, and I have yet to try it. One of the reasons why I asked was to know if this sort of feature was available through the web or other non-core iscore features like the team website.

One of the reasons I was holding off on the website was our season is all but over, so I did not want to spend $$ now.

Thanks

the idea of easy way to show "trending" was one of the hot topics many moons ago and ended up in the "future analytics" bucket. there was even a forum member/ user (name escapes me for the moment) who built and excel template and shared with the community. It took some time and effort to make work, but the intent was to show time series trends for selected stats for players. It however was built on the same premise you are doing, it takes tabs for each game, emailed one at a time.

update: user was iscore@tragus.org see this thread for more info and a link to his excel template
