Where is the "Notes" button when scoring

Post by OhioTex » Wed Jul 06, 2011 6:55 am

With a few variations in icon location in iPhone, iPad, and Andorid, I am often asked, where is the "Notes" button.. so i thought i would post this for easy reference for all.

If using Android, the note option is on the Menu for the scoring screen.

If using iPhone or iPod Touch, scroll the "top" of the scoring area to the left, and it will reveal the note button.

How about the Notes area in the Roster section on the website? I can't figure out how to populate that (they don't seem to be the same notes that are entered during games). I was hoping to put the player's nickname or walkup song in the Notes area in the Roster section but don't know if that's possible.

Thanks

On the hand held device there are game specific notes, and play specific notes..but not player specific notes beyond, name and jersey number.

Data entered on the admin website, my.iscorecentral.com, in the 'note column' for players -does not show up anywhere on the hand held device.

For a team with a team web site subscription, the player note column data from admin site will show up on roster page for players on that teams roster on team website

There are not player specific notes on the hand held device (an idea worth suggesting .. player specfic note capability under player manager> player >note)

Thanks Tex...I didn't realize I could edit the Player Notes from the admin site.
