More hitting menu options...
Are there any plans to add a "chopper" to the type of hits? This happens often and isn't quite a "hard ground ball" but that's what I score it as. They are clearly different though, and it would be nice to have that option. In Little League, there are lots of these, probably 3-5 per game.
A failed bunt attempt would be nice to have as well. There are many kids that don't even swing the bat, but try to bunt a few times a game. That would make a lot of difference when evaluating players to relay to them what they need to work on.
And foul balls? There is a big difference from a 180' drive that just misses the line and a foul tip. That would be nice for the "pitch by Pitch"...: "#28 Billy hits a hard line drive/fly ball that goes foul..." OR "#2 DJ fouls off a pitch..."
There IS a difference for sure...

Re: More hitting menu options...
We will add these requests to our enhancement list for future prioritization. We understand chopper and failed bunt attempt as being unique.
We don't quite understand statistically what you are asking for with foul balls. A hard foul ball, soft foul ball, "almost a home run foul ball", are all just foul balls. Can't really track "almosts" other than to say it was a foul ball. If you want to add some "color commentary" to the pitch by pitch (as it appears from the examples you gave), you can add notes to any pitch, and the viewers will see it in the iScorecast or Play by Play listings.

"...you can add notes to any pitch, and the viewers will see it in the iScorecast..." I have looked for a way to add notes such as the ones listed above and manager visits during the game, but I have yet to find it. How does one add a note to 'any pitch' without going to the pitch-by-pitch screen?
Thank you.
Thank you.

If using iPad, there is a note button at the bottom of the main scoring screen. If using Android, the note option is on the Menu for the scoring screen. If using iPhone or iPod Touch, scroll the "top" of the scoring area to the left, and it will reveal the note button.

His foul ball request is the same as the one a made a while back. It would be nice to have location tracking for the foul ball - in the same way a hit is tracked. I understand there are probably technical reasons why that is difficult to implement though.
Re: More hitting menu options...
@ webshowpro the foul ball location placement idea is on FTM list, there has not been an update since the time of your request.. but perhaps soon

How about the "Foul Tip"? This would do a couple of things:
1) Allow the action to be recorded as a swinging strike
2) Allow for a category that shows that a quality Catcher hangs on to "foul tips"
I don't think these are all too relevant, but a bit can be learned by a Catcher that catches his/her share of "foul tips", though in a scoring sense, it lacks priority. It is more relevant when the info is taken from the scoring input and used for evaluation, which a large amount of the iScore community use the iscore information for.
