Guest Player sorting/filtering

Post by Danger » Thu Jun 30, 2011 6:40 am

I am scoring for a couple of travel softball teams. On one of the teams, they lost a couple of players when we moved up age groups this year and spent the first couple of months picking up strays here and there. New permanent players have now joined and the roster has 10 full-time girls. On the statistics page, however, we have 30 girls listed.

It would be great to be able to somehow denote those as "Guest" players and have their stats show up at the bottom of the listing. We still want to see their stats in case we ever need to call on someone again. We'd just like to have the regulars clumped together at the top for easier comparison.

That's a good suggestion. We will add it to our list. Thank you.

+1 That sounds great. But I am curious, if you add a new player to the lineup, but don't copy the lineup to a roster would the player still show up in stats? Can you deselect the player for the league the team is in to disable them and prevent them from showing up in the team stats?

If you do not want them in team stats at all, you can remove them from the Team Roster. They will still appear in individual game stats, but not the team stats. In this case, it sounds like the user wants to see the players in team stats, just at a demoted level.

Thanks. I thought that was how it worked, I was too lazy to test it though :)
