Rain delay for a timed game -how do you stop or rest the clo

Post by Wilarno » Tue Jun 28, 2011 4:52 pm

My game runs for an hour 15 min. It was delayyed for rain at 41 min, how do I begin the game at the same spot with 41 min on the clock?

We do not have a "delay clock" feature. We display run time as the time that has elapsed since the game started. It is not intended as the official time for the game as only the umpire can say what that is, but we do know that many people find it useful, and rain delay seems to be a common request, so we may add it at some point in the future.

For now, just add a note to the game saying there is a rain delay, and leave the game "running". You can continue scoring it at any time.

It has been noted here before that if you "misc-end game" when the delay is called, and then press undo to restart the game when the delay is over, the clock will be correct.
