Happy to help

Suggestion. I would do a tune up now to remove deleted teams/games etc.

On device, in iscore .. Option > Export.
then on PC, go to your admin web site , my.iscorecentral.com, customer/device id, password
tune up tab > optimize now
when done,
On device, Option > Import (YES)

I actually had to do that before I could merge the teams. I deleted the problem game and tried to merge the teams and it told me I couldn't merge teams that had played each other. I remembered reading another thread about pending deleted games, so I exported, optimized then imported and then I could merge the teams.

On a side note, do you have any suggestions for ways to work around battery life on the iPad? Our 10s had a tournament last weekend and ended up playing 5 games in a row on Sunday and the iPad died before the 5th game. We could take an extension cord, but I don't know how many fields will have a plug in available, looking for other ideas if it ever happens again...

tip one, win more on saturday, get higher seed and not have to play as many on sunday. (lol). that said, congrats on a 5 header day

seriously,
#1 tip is airplane mode and lower screen brightness. (loose iscorecast of course)

another is the charge in the car routine on long weekends.

may be surprised how many parks do have outlets when you start looking for them near concession stands

somewhere on the board some folks have shared vendor/product info for add on battery packs (may do a search).

Here is a thread i found..
promark747 wrote:I use the Moshi iVisor and recommend it HIGHLY. It cuts down on the glare and greatly reduces fingerprints. It's much easier to install than most of the screen protectors that are prone to bubbles...this one is guaranteed bubble-free, as it uses a thin silicone seal just around the edges. Installation took about 5 seconds. I also use the original Apple iPad case, and it is awesome with the Moshi - a perfect fit.

Another product I recommend is the Richard Solo Portable Power Max. This device is a lithium battery backup, about the size of two decks of cards, and it has enough power to recharge the iPad several times. We had a quadruple header a couple of weeks ago, and I'm glad I had this device -- I'm always worried about running out of power!

Tip 1 - That was the plan...however getting 8-10 year old girls to follow through is another story...

Tip 2 - I will try that next time (of course we're hoping it doesn't happen that way again!)

There was one in the concession stand we could use, but we had 10 minutes between each game so not long enough to get a good enough charge. I'll search for the other.

We are the only 2 teams in the area using anything other than paper & pencil so we have to look elsewhere for help.

Thanks again for all of the help and suggestions!

I have had luck finding outlets at most parks, the problem is more that my extension cord is not long enough in some cases. I charge bewteen games whenever possible. One time I was lucky enough to find a second extension cord at the park which solved the problem. I also recently switched from the ipad to the ipad2 and noticed a significant increase in battery time. Our record was 9 games in one day (last one was a 1 inning IF game) with only 1 one hour break all day! Crazy day, but the ipad lasted!
