I have an issue with my iPhone and need to send it out for about a week for repair. I have an iPad with the iPhone version of iscore. What's the best way to handle temporarily using the iPad for a short period, then go back to the iPhone in about a week?
Thanks!

Do an Options -> Export from within iScore to send the data to our servers before sending out your device for repair. This will make sure there is a backup on our servers.
You can then use Data Sharing to transfer the teams you will be scoring for to the iPhone. When you get your iPad back, you can use Data Sharing to transfer those games back to the iPad device. Here is a link describing data sharing:

Since the "stats" are generated from the actual games played, and the temporary device won't have all of the games in it (I have a lot of games...), will it affect the stats, or merge them into the overall database? I take it when I get the iphone back, I would "data share" the games scored on the ipad to the phone?FTMSupport wrote:Do an Options -> Export from within iScore to send the data to our servers before sending out your device for repair. BTW, I can't live without this app...with it's help, I prevented a coach from cheating during a tournament last weekend; he was trying to pinch run their fastest runner in different batting positions during a crucial part of the game (tie breaker situation).
Oh yeah, you really cover just about everything, even the tie breaker button did just what it was supposed to do!

You can transfer just the teams, or all the games. If you want all of the games to be on the temporary device, you can use Data Sharing to transfer all of them. When you get your device back, transfer back the newly scored games, and the cumulative stats will include those new games as well.
Glad you are enjoying iScore.
