Need to Switch team after game is played

Post by Metfan1977 » Sat Jun 18, 2011 8:32 am

I entered my team stats on the opposing side. Can I switch the stats so that the opposing team's stats are entered for my team?

Once a game is underway, there is no easy way to flip home/visitor.

When you start a new game and are asked to review starting lineups, you can ' flip home/visitor at that point under the option button..

By your post it sounds like you were "entering" stats.. If so, you need to manually re entree correctly

the above response may have answered my issue, but here's what happened last night. I correctly set up the home/visitor game and lineups. But when I went to "play" I found that the home/visitors were flipped! The game screen still showed the correct home/visitor but the play screen was the opposite. What happened? How do I fix that? Is there any way that if I simply edit the game somehow (don't know how to do that) the scoring would recalculate automatically, giving me a correct score and stats for that game?

From the lineup screen prior to game start if you go to Options, there is an option to swap home and visitor. That us the only wy they can be switched and it has to be before the first pitch.

Are you saying when the first batter came to the plate (or when you looked at the fielders) that you did not see that one of the teams was yours and they were in the wrong place? And you scored the entire game with the wrong players for both teams?

If you notice it before the game starts or right away you can Undo back to before the first pitch and go to Lineup for the game and swap the teams back. But if you scored the entire game with the teams being wrong, your best bet is probably to rescore the entire game. You can use the scorebook to re enter the data as a new game.
